Remarks: The big Kalitta freighter prepares to taxi past me just after crossing 4R on it's way out to the reef runway. Just after making the turn some 75 feet ahead, the crew had to accelerate the engines to get started from the slow turn. I was on the rock shooting thru the fence....wow! What a rush to be hit by the blast from this old girl. This is full frame from the 400D.
Remarks: 1944 vintage B-25J prior to the July 4th flyby. Thanks for the chopper ride to get the air-to-air shots this afternoon. This shot is dedicated to my Godfather and law mentor who passed away on 14 July 07. He flew these old gals, as well as B-24 Liberators, across Europe and Germany in 1944 and 1945 as a Captain in the Army Air Corp. He retired as a full Colonel in the early 1970's. So long Colonel and happy flying.
