Remarks: 10 minutes after take-off this 767 returned due to an engine fire on the right engine. During final moments prior to touchdown flames were clearly visible. As soon as the plane stood still fire brigade put the aircraft under a blanket of foam. A catch in a lifetime. Scan from photo.
Remarks: Early morning arrival of this bird. Landing on runway 06 @ 6.17am. I was just speechless when I saw this photo on my computer! I think it's awesome.. And you?
Remarks: KLM is one of the few, maybe even the only airline who has the front galley like this in their B747's. Note the text on the paper sticked to the blade at the bottom of the photo!
Remarks: A close up of the damage at the horizontal stabilizer of this 747.
The damage is so severe that the whole stabilizer need to be replaced. On June 9th a 'new' stabilizer was flown in by an Antonow 124 at Schiphol.
Remarks: Low visibility on final approach for runway 18R. This unexpected fog caused some problems for incoming traffic. Many flights had to divert to RTM, EIN or BRU. Special thanks for the crew. I really enjoyed it.
