Remarks: A rare glimpse of the inside of P&W Canada's Flying Engine Test Bed, C-FETB. Unfortunately C-FETB is the last Boeing 720 still flying. The other two 720s N720H and N720PW were broken up in late 2008. C-FETB flew in from CYHU for Maintenance.
Remarks: The last Boeing 720 flying.
C-FETB is seen here during engine start and preparing to fly back to CYHU after it flew in for maintenance.
Take note of P&WC's N720PW in the background soon to be broken up.
Remarks: A nice low approach to runway 14. What an amazing aircraft. I was hoping for the full Cubana colors but I'll take this Albino YK42 just the same.
Remarks: N610DL flew into SFB to celebrate the Delta Connection Acadamy's opening of their new flightschool facilities. A tour of the Pink Delta was also available to DCA's students and employees. As shown in this photo N610DL gave us a high-speed pass before heading back to ATL.
Remarks: ZJ516 is temporarily based in Nashville, TN (BNA) for wing icing tests. Due to severe weather in the South part of the country the Nimrod was forced to divert to SWF the previous night. Luckily it stayed until there was sufficient daylight. As seen in this photo the left wing is the wing used for the icing tests.
Remarks: I was very pleased to see the FAC B703 show up for the UNGA instead of the usual 733. One of the many VIP flights duing the United Nations General Assembly.
Remarks: One of the many VIP Aircraft to fly into NYC for the United Nations General Assembley 62nd session I think this Oldschooler will definitely my shot of the year. To be that close to a 707 without ear protection was deafening to say the least but still an awsome experience!
