Remarks: Cockpit view of the Fokker100 that is on display on the visitors terrace. I thought of uploading it as spotting location, as it would meet the criteria. You can see some a/c on the ramp below, and there is even a sign that says on which airport it is taken ;-) Thanks to Paul, for his inspiration.
Remarks: You can see condensation and several contrails (4!), note the small ones trailing from the wing tips. Quite an amazing sight, and a nice reward for standing in the freezing cold winter weather.
Remarks: The Panorama Terrace at Schiphol attracts visitors all year round, like on this winter's day. There are two entrances to the terrace. This spot is at the northern entrance, near the F-gate. The point of view is angled at the E-gate where the NWA and Delta birds are regularly parked. When you come spotting here in the afternoon you will have the sun in your back, providing good photography light. [Google Earth +52° 18' 39.17", +4° 45' 46.59"]
Remarks: I wonder why he is trying so hard to clean the window. Is it really that essential to have a spotless view from the cockpit, or was he checking whether it was just dirt or a crack?
Remarks: View at the E gate with some ramp activity as Nahanni National Park is being loaded for her next trip. The light is great at this time of day: with the sun not yet entirely set and the lamps already ignited.
