Remarks: Approaching Iceland on our red-eye flight DL46 to Moscow-Sheremetyevo. A sleepless night in the cold and dark sky, and home is still so far away...
Remarks: Overview of LHR while climbing off 27R on our way to SNN. Here are 2 QF 744s, Ethiopian 767, Iberia A320, BA A320, Cathay 744, PIA and Egyptair 773ERs, AA 767 and 777, 3 AC 767s, 4 Virgin 346s, Virgin 744, Finnair 320, Turkish 321 and Turkmenistan 757. Can you find them all?
Remarks: A desperate attempt to take a breathtaking view of Hong Kong that we had while following the approach procedure to runway 25R. Stonecutters Bridge and Victoria Harbour are visible as we are gliding through the clouds to our destination.
Remarks: As days become shorter, it becomes much harder to photograph evening AF flights. In a week or so it will be impossible but now I've got an AF 77W at sunset with nice and dense contrail. Look at the reflections on the fuselage. You can imagine what a spectacular view of evening Moscow those pax have from their window seats! AF128 CDG-PEK at 10100m, picture taken from ground.
Remarks: The sun hasn't set at upper flight levels and the last rays fall on LH728 as she passes my home on her long way to Shanghai. Photo from ground at 1200mm.
Remarks: During my spotting trip to HKG taking a photo of KE A380 was the most desired and challenging goal as it comes only at night. Especially for this I booked Regal hotel that has direct view to the ramp. 3 days in row I was unlucky as A380 was towed to another position and was not fully visible during startup. However this time it was delayed for about 2 hours and at 2.20am it was pushed to a "correct" point making this picture possible. I can tell for sure this is the most valuable trophy I got from HKG.
Remarks: Finally she has come to her new home in snowy Russia. This shining new machine will be the first 777-300ER operated by a Russian airline. Great achievement by Aeroflot.
