Remarks: Seen just after pushback, Cathay's oldest Airbus A330-300 B-HLA is preparing for a flight back to homebase. This 17.9 years old machine is still looking sparkling clean even after years of continuous usage!
Remarks: As fate would have it, shortly after we switched spotting locations where we cannot see which planes are approaching, we heard a loud roar. "Hey, it looks big!" Guess what, 9V-SWJ, the second Boeing 777-300ER to be painted in the beautiful Star Alliance livery roared loudly above us. This also came as a surprise, similar to 9V-SWI as we were totally not prepared for it. Nevertheless, we managed to capture it.
Remarks: A beautiful Virgin Australia Boeing 737-800 about to land on runway 16R at SYD. This was a very welcome sight, showcasing one of my favourite airplanes in the world in one of the best liveries around!
Remarks: Thai arrives royally on one of their daily rotations to BKK. This particular Airbus A330-300 is fitted with Thai's new Business Class and Economy Class with AVOD in all classes.
