Remarks: The modernized and weaponized version of the Mi-17 : The lethal Mi-17V5.The upgrades include a weather radar, a state of the art autopilot, a winch and all weather capability in any kind of terrain.The nose of the helicopter is peculiar and resembles a Dolphin.
Remarks: The specially modified version of the Dornier Do228 for the Indian Coast Guard equipped to perform maritime surveillance.The hump below the fuselage is a 360 degree surveillance radar.Also , fitted on the aircraft is a FLIR , a high power searchlight and a Omega Navigation System.
Remarks: The Hawk Mk. 132 is the latest export variant of the Hawk specially for the Indian Airforce and was previously known as the Mk. 115Y.These aircraft are powered by the Rolls-Royce Adour Mk 871 engine.Hawks are used by the Indian Airforce in the Advanced Trainer role for fighter pilots.Seen here on static display at Aeroindia '13.
Remarks: EP-IAM lines up Runway 27 at Mumbai for departure for a flight to Tehran.This is the only active passenger 747-100 and is around 34 years old , flew first in 1979 and still going strong.Well maintained by Iran Air and also kept very neat.A true beauty.

Remarks: The Hawker Siddeley HS 748 is a medium-sized turboprop airliner originally designed by the British firm Avro in the late 1950s.HAL license produces the Series 1 and Series 2 748's.This particular aircraft was ferrying military personnel in and out of Aeroindia '13.
Remarks: The Lockheed Martin C-130J "Super" Hercules is a four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft. The C-130J is a comprehensive update of the venerable Lockheed C-130 Hercules, with new engines, flight deck, and other systems. The Hercules family has the longest continuous production run of any military aircraft in history.Indian Airforce acquired six C-130J's.Also , seen fitted in this pic is the detachable refueling probe.

Indian Airforce Mi-8PS Z3040 : VIP transport taxies out of the Yelahanka VIP Ramp.The VIP colours look pretty good on the Mils and Avros!This particular helo was there at VOYK on all the days , arriving in the morning and leaving later in the evening! Amazing helicopter again!
Remarks: Flying Bulls lined up just outside their parking tent.Returning after their morning display lead by flight lead Radka Machova who is a amazing person!!She ,all by herself pushed her Zlin 50LX (the one in view) into the tent and refusing the IAF's liason officer's offer to help her!!60+ years old and still going strong....#Serious Respect!!
Remarks: Queen of the Skies : Turning onto Runway 32 for departure via Runway 14. The 747 and the Oneworld British Airways livery make an excellent combo, always a treat to click. Note the grey cowling on engine No.2!!
