Remarks: One of the many helicopters used for helitaxi between Linate and Monza during the Grand Prix of Italy. The passenger in the back seems to be wondering who are all those people pointing a camera to the chopper!
Remarks: Circling above Gallinara Island, a small island off Liguria coast. The cliff in the lower part of the photo cannot be seen from the coast, only by a boat or by an airplane!
Remarks: Flying near Calcinate del Pesce gliderport, near Lago di Varese. The airport has a tarmac runway for takeoffs and for tow planes landings, and a grass runway for glider landings. If you look closely, you can see a tow plane going around after having released the cable! Thanks to Paola and Luca for the flight!
Remarks: A P-180 mock-up painted by modern artist Mimmo Paladino. The name of this work is "Cacciatore di stelle" (literally "Starfighter", and as an F-104 fan it almost made me cry!) It was in temporary display in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
Remarks: Building the last part of the antenna of Cesar Pelli Tower, in the center of Milan. This marked the completion of the skyscraper, that became the tallest building in Italy.
