Remarks: ACA461 touching down RWY32 in a golden moment. Due to the snowstorm that day, several narrow body Air Canada flights to and from YYZ were cancelled and replaced by two B777 flights in the evening. Note the flaps are not set to 30° due to low #PAX. 100th photo on Jetphotos.Net that I dedicate to my father.
Remarks: The fat whale has arrived to YUL to dust the Runway! Those are some massive engines! Special thanks to Dean Hoisak for letting me use his 100-400L lens for most of the spotting trip.
Remarks: Before our arrival, we were forced to circle around the airport as there was a severe thunderstorm. After being positioned #8, we landed in some heavy rain. Special thanks to the crew for the safe landing and letting me take this shot! Go Lufthansa! Taken onboard LH3302 from FRA.
Remarks: One of the main spotting location in Ottawa situated on Alert Rd. by the fence where the departing aircraft taxi by very close and land. Great for sunset shots and to get a good whiff of jet fuel! Taken from large snow mound. [1200px]
Remarks: This is where all the action goes on! ---Departures hall. This was the day I saw ACA889. It was a emergency landing from Frankfurt, flaps problems (read it on Aviation Herald). First time seeing a emergency.
