Remarks: the latest half of the Air France A380 fleet is greeting us as we're about to leave. F-HPJF, standing in the middle, brought me back from JFK this morning.
Remarks: Evergreen's N482EV is overtaking us before we reach the Canadian coast on our way from CDG to JFK as flight AF006. This aircraft is a never ending story: nearly 40 years old, operated by 9 airlines and is still flying.
Remarks: completing flight AF006 from CDG, while we're approaching JFK over Floyd Bennett Field. Seconds later we started the famous right turn of the Canarsie Approach on finals for 13L.
Remarks: overview after a heavy rain shower with nice reflections on the ground due to the wetness. Spot the departing police helicopter and note the row of trailers in the front waiting for the arrival of the Emirates SkyCargo 77F.
Remarks: shortly after take off from runway 8R onboard Alitalia's I-DISO, we were powering out of Miami, operating flight AZ 631 to Rome. We had a nice overview of the eastern part of the airport, including some AA and LAN aircrafts. A long night flight is ahead of us..
Remarks: Is there any better way to wake up after a long nightflight? I really enjoyed this magnificent view in the morning out of Air France's newest A380 onboard flight AF007 from New York to Paris.
Remarks: the mighty beauty is arriving from Seoul as flight KE 81 Super. Glad the catch the first A380 for Korean Air out of such an angle so early in service!
