Remarks:Hudson Fysh departs on a positioning flight from Sydney to Melbourne only minutes before it's new sister ship VH-OQD arrived in Sydney. A really nice side on early morning shot that highlights the side on angle!
Remarks: The under floor crew rest facility on VH-OQD. This is a rarely seen area of the aircraft not normally accessible to the general public. This facility is on the same level of the aircraft as the cargo holds of the aircraft.
Remarks: Climbing out in VH-CKT (Bell 206 Longranger) for a scenic trip over Sydney, cruising past the Sydney Domestic Terminal and Qantas Jetbase. In the middle of the picture is the Qantas Domestic Terminal, to the left is the Sydney Airport Operated terminal and to the right is the Qantas Jetbase. In the distance is the threshold for runway 16Right and beyond that is International Terminal and the International Freight Building.
Remarks: Travelling at 110kts and at around 600 ft with a 20 degree angle of bank - perfectly lining up for an approach over the southern pylon of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House!
