Remarks: "Last flight" for an old resident of Hellinicon airport. SX-ECD of the Hellenic C.A.A. departing to become (unfortunately) a cafeteria few meters from the airport.
Remarks: First time on JP.net and probably the last! This plane was damaged beyond economical repair while landing at Kabul airport on April 25th 2005 after a tyre burst on landing causing the plane to slid off the the runway catching fire. Five out of six crew members suffered minor injuries. It was operating a flight from Dubai. Photo was taken just a couple of weeks before the accident.
