Remarks: My 3000th on JP! A big thankyou to everyone who has helped me along the way to this milestone. Departing from RWY 28 in the beautiful morning sunrise. [1600 pix]
Remarks: An overview of the main spotting location at Frankfurt Airport, located on the Southeast side of the airport, meaning light is good between 9am and 5pm. A quick 15 minute walk from the Terminal will get you here, and the Intercity Hotel is just a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction, a good choice for a hotel if on a mini spotting trip. Arrivals on both RWY's 25R and 25L can be photographed here along with aircraft being towed between the remote stands and the terminal, as can be seen in this picture. Remarks: Overlooking the ramp at the great Schipol Airport. The viewing terrace is open between 9am and 5pm during the shorter winter hours and is absolutely free to gain access to! If only all airports had management like Amsterdam Schipols! Thanks to Noora for accepting to be dragged along on the trip and huge thanks to Sandro for flying in to meet us for the day, it was certainly a day to remember. [1600 pix]
Remarks: My 4000th image on JP.net. Arriving into RWY 34 just at the crack at dawn. Thanks to Simon De Rudder, Tis Meyer, Gianluca Reinarz and Sandro Frehner for the company through out this particular trip. [1600 pix]
Remarks: Arriving into RWY 09L. It baffles me how many people do not like this livery, personally I think it's one of the best liveries on the A380, and the evening light makes it look even better. [1600 pix]
Remarks: Lifting off from RWY 28, departing Dublin after a two day visit as part of the World Tour. Sadly the sunshine did not cooperate. :( [1600 pix]
Remarks: The top deck of the car park offers great views over half of the gates at Manchester. Amongst the aircraft are US A330, KLM 737, Thomson 767 and 737, AF A319, SQ 773ER, Atlasjet 757, Continental 757 and last but not least, Virgin 747, also not to forget the First Choice 767, now operating for Thomson. Remarks: The two C-17's attracted all the famous local PIK spotters out. The aircraft on the left remained overnight whilst the aircraft on the right departed an hour later. This spotting location is found at the entrance to the control tower on the South side of the airport where the lighting is good almost all day round. Google Earth; 55°30'15.34"N 4°35'15.86"W
