Remarks: Well I managed to capture every type in AA's fleet in one shot excluding the A300, but they don't come through DFW. The 767 is just barely sticking in his wing on the left side. Rainy day as I wait for my flight to ACT.
Remarks: British 744, KLM A332, Lufthansa A343, and Qantas 744 at the gates on the south side of terminal D with a touch of Sun Country. Really awesome to see the diversity at DFW together at once. American even made the cut with the tail of an MD-80 just barely sticking out from the west side. Decided to take the Skylink around one more time before my flight to catch this collection.
Remarks: The plane Howard spent his last moments in. His CAF uniform is hanging on the prop. Above it are his 3 hats and on the end of the prop is his headset. RIP Howard :(
Remarks: Taken after taxiing from the fuel pump to the parking spot and shutting down the engine. Thanks for the ride, guys! Even though it was just about 100 feet. Awesome plane, nonetheless.
Remarks: Taking off back to DFW with a nice view of the FedEx ramp with a Delta A330 and Omni DC-10 with compliments of the Atlanta skyline back there, too.
Remarks: Well I missed my Frontier flight to DEN by a couple minutes, but I'd say waiting around in AUS paid off a bit with getting to finally catch Lone Star One. The morning sky was a welcomed added bonus.
Remarks: A break in the clouds allowed a view of Love Field soon after takeoff from DFW enroute to ORD on AAL2356. Always a pretty awesome sight to see airports from the air! The construction for the new terminal is visible, too.
