Remarks: Tail view of an IC A320, notice the outflow valve (just below the starboard door) completely open on ground to regulate/maintain air pressure.
Remarks: A view of the A320 cabin from Seat '1F'. This is an old aircraft which is not fitted with IFE system, and is being used on the short HYD-TIR sector. Cabin configured as 20J + 126Y.
Remarks: Kingfisher's A332 on display at the "India Aviation 2008' airshow. The "First" title indicates that this aircraft is equipped with First class in its cabin. Some of the earlier A320's delivered to them were configured in all Economy, therefore these titles to differentiate. Includes a standing bar and a very comfortable couch inside with a huge LCD mounted behind the bar.
Remarks: Boy, was this a sight !! The flight deck of Kingfisher's A332. It didn't look much different than an A32X cockpit, except for an extra panel on the pedestal close to the parking brakes, a vertical printer, and a foot warmer, which the captain said was the biggest asset :) Shot at the 'India Aviation 2008', Hyderabad.
Remarks: Manufactured sometime in 1966, this little oldie flew in from Patiala (south eastern part of Punjab) for the airshow. This particular aircraft collided with a jeep in July'2000 while on ground and started sending out distress signals through its Emergency Location Transmitter. The messages were detected by the Space Research Centre in Bangalore & after a search of about 40 hours, this aircraft was identified and the transmitter was finally switched off.
