Remarks: Hong Kong ? No, this is the NDIA (New Doha International Airport). ICAO : OTHH. It is currently just over 90% complete and should replace the current airport just 5km away on the 12/12/12, almost 4 years later than planned. Its main runway is 4,850m (15,910 ft) long, making it one of the longest in the world and when fully complete the airport will be able to service six Airbus A380’s simultaneously.
Remarks: Wide-angle view of the massive red Oryx on this A330's tail. I was heading to Dubai (DXB) after arriving on a different QR A332 from there a few hours earlier. Short haul on a wide-body is always fun.
