Remarks: You can see the age of this airplane by just looking the baggage compartment... Still a very nice aircraft though.. Enroute to Santiago of Chile at FL320 over the Aconcagua valley.
Remarks: Sitted at the "office". This is my 100th photo on J.net and is also a very special one. In the cockpit of an Airplane, like it should be. I would like to thanks to my very close friends Carlos Valle, Fernando Olivares and Alfredo Romero for their kind support and friendship through this time. I couldn't do any of this without you guys!!. To my fellow spotters in SCEL and of course to the J.net crew for their wonderful job!.
Remarks: Ex Mandala Airlines PK-RMG and AerOasis HK-4738, now flying for LAN Airlines and soon to be returned to LAN Colombia is welcomed this afternoon by the beautiful Andes Mountain.
Remarks: This is one of our favorites spotting place in SCEL. As you can see, the guys are about 100 feets from the taxiway who leads to RWY 17R for international traffic and some domestics ones too. There's only a small fence. At the back are the parking spaces for the American's fleet. At the left are the Gates, so we can see pretty much everything from here. And also we have fans from both sides!, Airbus and Boeing!.
Remarks: Ex Transavia Airlines, ATA Airlines, AXIS Airways, then transfered to Ocean Air as PR-ONF and stored at POA in April of this year. Now flying for AVIANCA and wearing nice winglets!. Here, in short final to RWY 17L at SCEL in a very unusual schedule. (First pic in DB.)
Remarks: Typical afternoon at SCEL. The two AA's parked waiting for its night flight to DFW and MIA. Behind them, LAN's maintenance hangar and at the very left Sky's maintenance hangar.
Remarks: The TAM A330 with this very nice scheme taxiing to RWY 17R for takeoff, and!! the first officer waving us!! Many thanks to the TAM crew for this shot!!.
