Remarks: The North Wales Police Helicopter flies in for the 2009 Airbus Families Day held to mark the 40 years of Airbus. The green monster in the background is part of the kids entertainment. (In Welsh Heddlu means Police.)
Remarks: A newly manufactured set of wings is carefully loaded aboard Super Transporter “TA”. Note the jack in place under the nose which is powered by the vehicle next to the aircraft. Out of shot is a similar device supporting the tail section. A visit to Hawarden demonstrates the ingenuity and resourcefulness of Airbus in the management of its logistics not to mention the impressive nature of its manufacturing facilities.
