One of eight eagles which departed at Lajes on this morning. This one belongs to the 391st Fighter Squadron 'Bold Tigers', based at Mountain Home AFB. It feels great to see these birds again!

While boarding my flight to São Jorge Island I got the chance to take some photos of this beautiful flying Sperm Whale which among its sea cousins are the most commonly seen whales at Azores.
