Remarks: Climbing out of Stansted enroute to Haugesund we got a great view back over the airport. There's a Ryanair 737 just landed behind us on the runway, another Ryanair is about to line up on the runway, while a Eurocypria 737 and an Air Berlin DHC8 taxi out to the active. Also visible is the site for the new pier and related taxiways, to the bottom of the picture.
Remarks: The best spot for photography at Manchester in my opinion. You are located above the fence and the sun is behind you all day. The best part is regardless of which direction the wind is blowing, you are always close to either the touchdown or the rotation resulting in some great action shots. Some fellow spotters are shooting the daily US Airways A330 from Philadelphia.

Remarks: Climbing out from runway 05 onboard Ryanair 737-800 EI-EBG, enroute to Haugesund. One of the easyJet A319s is deplaning, whilst the other one is just finishing boarding.
Remarks: 9/9/09. A very special day for hundreds as the entire area around the airport was packed with people for the first ever UK landing of an A380 outside of London on a passenger carrying service. Sheldon Country Park was no exception - over 600 people crammed around the end of the runway to witness the departure of the beauty, seen here beginning her takeoff run back to Dubai.
Remarks: First photo in the database of this aircraft. Now based at East Midlands, this beauty belongs to a computer games company in Staffordshire. A shame the weather didn't improve a bit!
Remarks: On final approach to Heathrow on a wonderful winter afternoon after our flight from Dublin, we were treated to a beautiful view of the entire City of London. Visible on this photograph is Westminster, London Eye, Big Ben, Downing Street, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, St Pauls Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, Tower 42, The Shard, Waterloo, Battersea Power Station and many more landmarks, shown here at 1600px resolution.
Remarks: A beautiful livery on a beautiful aircraft, and the late evening light doesn't hurt either. Coming in over Sheldon Country Park for a landing on runway 15, after her flight from the Middle East.
Remarks: Climbing out from Dalaman at 6am, getting a beautiful glimpse of the fishing vessels heading out for their catch as the morning mist burns off in the summer sun, but lingers in the shadows. 1280px.
Remarks: The flight deck of the world's only S-61NM after our flight into Penzance from St Marys. The engines are still running and the aircraft will be airborne again in minutes. Uploaded at 1600px.
