Remarks: The beautiful F-86 Sabre closes the Shuttleworth Military Pageant in fantastic style, putting on an incredibly nimble and tight display round Old Wardens curved crowd line. In typical fashion the jet left a trail of black exhaust fumes behind it in the sky making for a very some nice photographic opportunities. It could almost be the skies over Korea... (1200px)
Remarks: After arrival from Luton on flight EZY135, on only the third flight since Easyjet took over the route after Thompsonfly axed it. Many thanks to the flight crew for this shot!
Remarks: A harrowing moment as the AJBS Skyraider collides with P-51D Mustang 'Big Beautiful Doll' at Flying Legends. Pilot Rob Davies had seconds to exit the aircraft and open his parachute before it crashed into a cornfield. The Skyraider pilot managed to recover from an uncommanded roll and limp back to the airfield with one third of his wing missing. (1200px)
Remarks: The highlight of Flying Legends 2009 on saturday was surely the Jacquard collection FW-190. The display was flown with such ferocity by Marc 'Leon' Mathis, the close and low passes by the tank bank had the crowd a whoopin' and a hollerin'! The 190 is seen here diving in for such a pass. It was easy to see how deadly the butcher bird would have been during the war. (1200px)
Remarks: Approaching the summit of the Matterhorn( 4485m), one of Switzerlands most famous mountain! This photo is dedicated to Switzerland as it was taken on Swiss National Day 2008!
