Remarks: Cockpit shot of the 3rd IAH-ORD flight this week with United's first 787. Thanks for the flight crew for letting me get some pictures. The ride was memorable.
Remarks: This was a recent acquisition for the Russell Military Museum (1st Nov 2011). A quick check of the history revealed it was written off due to an engine fire. Before that, it was a chase plane for the F-22 program. It does have wings and a vertical stabilizer but were removed for transport. I hope they find a good spot for it just like the F-15 they have.
