Remarks: Ex. OH-LHA / F-GPVA, Finnair's first DC-10 and the first widebody aircraft in Finland, seen here the day before flying to Opa Locka, Florida (KOPF) to be broken up, after being stored at Helsinki-Vantaa for several months. The aircraft carried a US registration for it's ferry flight.
Remarks: First time I've seen one of these paintings with Finnair. The aircraft is in old colors, but the front of the engine nacelle painted in the blue of the new colors.
Remarks: This A318 visited Helsinki to be demonstrated for Finnair. Here it is seen leaving the VIP terminal for a press demonstration flight. The aircraft will become Air France's sixth A318 F-GUGF.
Remarks: This A318 visited Helsinki to be demonstrated for Finnair. Here it is seen arriving from a demonstration flight carrying Finnair employees. The aircraft will become Air France's sixth A318 F-GUGF.
Remarks: The overhead panel of a DC-10 is rather uncluttered compared to modern jets. That is because the DC-10 has a flight engineer's panel. Taken from Finnair's old DC-10 cockpit procedure trainer stored at the Finnish Aviation Museum.
