Remarks: Two years without seeing Aeromexico at SCEL and it had to get thirty minutes late... when the sun was already below the horizont. I'm not fan of this type of pic but I like the result.
Remarks: First KC-135 received by Chilean Air Force a couple of weeks ago. It's the first of threes that will be received in coming months. Pictured today departing to the south for supporting operations related with the serious earthquake suffered by Chile four days ago. Equipped with JT3D Engines instead of CFM's used by these days. Only seen in jetphotos.net.
Remarks: 1400 pix to show Airport view from my seat while we are climbing off from runway 17R. Overcast noon but several aircrafts showing regular traffics of SCL. From left to right at gates 11 and 10 a couple of Lan's, the smallest and the biggest in fleet, both wearing 80 years stickers. Air France with 773 instead of the regular B772 and Delta's B763 in remote positions 9 and 8. At the back two AA's B763, one of them with winglets a two Lan's at the domestic terminal. Ten aircrafts including the one where I'm sitting and not a common view for a kind of lazy airport. Can you see aircraft number ten in my 900 pic in jetphotos.net ?.
Remarks: 23.22UTC as you can see at the left side and flight AC093 has just arrived from EZE in its way to Toronto. We are at gate sixteen in the same orientation as the runways 17L and 17R as you can check in the hedge indicator. The airport is at 1650 feet and in the second screen from the left you can see the belly of the aircraft and a view from the tail showing that the cleaning has started by the right side. Hihglight of the year for me being in the cockpit of one of my favourite aircraft as a remakable finish of a wondeful vacation on Buenos Aires. Thanks a lot to every person who I had to talk to get into the cockpit and of course, thanks to the gentle captain for a very nice conversation and to the FO for the nice souvenir.
