Remarks: New type for Ethiopian Cargo in the db. Departing for KPAE after getting painted in KPDX. Scheduled to be delivered to the operator on September 19, 2012. An Asiana Cargo B744F can be seen in the lower right.
Remarks: L/N 875. Departing as BOE950 at 8:02pm local time, with the sun close to the horizon, lighting up the belly of this newly painted B777-3B5ER. Reg will be HL8209 when delivered to Korean Air.
Remarks: Nose section of the lower deck. The thing between the aisles of seats is the in-flight treatment area. Got an ok massage during the flight, the masseuse did not use enough pressure. Taken before all the pax got on.
Remarks: This 772LR is destined for a private customer. Departing KPDX back to KPAE as BOE96. Came in a week ago for this simple all white paint job. This is one expensive biz jet! Reg to be VP-CAL. L/N 891
Remarks: Landed on recently re-opened 25L at LAX, used ONLY thrust reversers to stop, causing the massive dust-up. One tire blew out in the center-left bogey. Caught this while spotting with Anthony and Dean at "the hill". Anthony's shot is http://web2.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5957987
Remarks: Another paint ferry from KPAE. Flying as BOE574, this B772 will be for British Airways. Reg will be G-YMMU after delivery. You can see a small bit of the livery on the rudder, as well as the usual BA blue engine cowlings.
Remarks: Kind of odd to see a section of the fuselage above the wing, at the top of the plane to be different than the rest of the plane. Flew in as BOE34 for painting. L/N 931
Remarks: Northwest flight 19, KMSP-RJAA, is making a tech stop today at KPDX. Although this airplane has been painted in Delta colors, it is still operating under Northwest's certificate, with NWA crew, hence a Northwest flight number.
Remarks: Cruising at Mach 2.0 over the Atlantic at 53,000 feet on flight BA0001. Once in a lifetime experience! Also my 1000th photo on JetPhotos.net! Dug through my archives for something special. Thanks to all the screeners, as well as all the friends I made through spotting all over the years! Pic was scanned from print negative.
