Remarks: (Fujichrome Sensia 100) Delivered to KLM on 15 December 1971 as PH-BUG. Photographed during the lease of this 747 to Garuda (from May until September 1991). Later to Corsair (F-GPJM) and is scrapped in 2002 on Chateauroux, France.
Remarks: (137) Delivered to British European Airways on 2 February 1969. Flew from January 1994 for European Aircharter, leased by Sabena from March 1995 until June 1996. Flew later for Air Bristol and scrapped in February 2002 on Bournemouth.
Remarks: (Kodak Gold 200) Delivered to Britannia on 23 April 1991 as G-BYAA. Leased by Air Aruba as PH-AHM (May 1991-October 1991) and as G-BYAA (November 1991-April 1992). Britannia was later renamed to Thomsonfly (in May 2005). Was also leased by Garuda Indonesia (November 2008-January 2009). Stored at Goodyear, Arizona (January 2009-October 2011). Scrapped in October 2011.
Remarks: (Fujichrome Sensia 100) Now days people are photographing airplanes, even in India, but some years ago it was not allowed in India. Just after I shot this photo a guard came to me and asking what I was doing and that it was not allowed to take pictures. This classic 737 was delivered on 15 October 1975 to Indian Airlines. It was converted to a freighter in December 1995 and flew for Blue Dart Express as VT-BDF and stored since June 2007.
Remarks: (Fujichrome Sensia 100) Delivered to Standard Airways as N490SA on 3 November 1966. Flew later for Ozark Airways as N490SA (October 1968-October 1986). Ozark Airways merged with TWA in October 1986. Stored at San Jose, California (July 1999-January 2002). Flew for Ascera Airlines as YV-703C (January 2002-February 2003). Stored at Aruba from February 2003, scrapped in 2005.
Remarks: (Fuijchrome Sensia 100) Delivered to KLM on 18 May 1989. Taxis here to the runway 11 to continue flight KL783 (from Amsterdam) to the neighbour island Curacao. Nice to see such big airplane on a small airport as Reina Beatrix.
Remarks: Nice line up of Delta Airlines airplanes early morning in AMS. The N172DN in the front was original delivered to Delta Airlines on 22 June 1990. It was stored at Victorville, California (October 2008-March 2010). Modified with winglets in March 2010.
Remarks: (Fujichrome Sensia 100) Delivered to British Airways on 15 May 1981 as G-BHBP, but leased by Air Lanka from August 1991 until November 1994. Here the 4R-ULM is towed to the gate for my flight UL564 to Columbo.
