Remarks: a sight seldom seen......... Wellington on a still day - coincided with a strike of staff in Auckland so the airport also is almost still ....... :) - the shot was taken from Mt Victoria near the lookout - love the yacht reflections in lower right in Evans Bay.. :)
Remarks: first day of DC-8's NZC lands at Wellington - both DC-8 aircraft arrived on the same day - there were about 20 touch and go's before finally arriving at the gate - see pic ID:505958 to see the first touch down
