Remarks: [1200 pix] Manufactured in 1995. Final approach from Miami to Los Angeles as flight AA#271. Due to lack of smog, downtown Los Angeles is visible in the background as we descend to runway 25L.
Remarks: Manufactured in 2007. Beginning our initial descent from FL350 over the United Kingdom, enroute to Amsterdam from New York as flight KL#644. My second time on the Triple Seven, this experience was certainly more memorable than the first.
Remarks: Manufactured in 2010. Pushing back from gate B15, operating flight OA#152 to Athens. It was nice to catch this aircraft departing as Olympic Air no longer serves my hometown of New York.
Remarks: Manufactured in 2007. The sky looks amazing as we make our way toward New York-Kennedy from Brussels, just passing north of Ireland onboard flight JAI226.
Remarks: Manufactured in 1996. Enroute to Bruxelles from Marseille in the early morning as flight BEL3604. While cloud cover was little to none in Marseille, it was another story as we reached Northern France. Check out the faint circular rainbow at the right of the frame; I was getting frustrated while shooting thinking it was a dust spot!
Remarks: Manufactured in 2008. Shortly after takeoff as flight JAI225, we begin a 6hr32 flight to Bruxelles - and my 11hr15 journey back to Marseille ! A wonderful first impression, the service was superb and the flight attendants were extremely friendly.
Remarks: Manufactured in 2000. Onboard flight AAL530, my seat is to the right at 12J. Returning home to New York from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Miami, it was my first time onboard the Triple Seven. A very exciting way to end an exciting weekend.
Remarks:Happy 80th Birthday, American Airlines! Manufactured in 1992. Entering the approach pattern for LaGuardia's ILS runway 22 as flight AAL1124 from Miami, we pass over New York City. Lower Manhattan and the Lower East Side are pictured at the left of the photograph, with the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Williamsburg Bridges spanning over the East River. Brooklyn is pictured at the right of the photograph, with the tallest structure in this borough, the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Building to the right of Downtown Brooklyn above the wing. Scattered clouds cover Queens, and the orange-colored Staten Island Ferry is visible just under the flap track fairing.
Remarks:Happy 80th Birthday, American Airlines! Manufactured in 1992. We boarded flight AAL1124 at approximately 10h20, but deplaned at 11h30 due to a ground stop at all New York airports. The first class cabin (rows 3 through 6) is pictured as our aircraft sits at gate D36 awaiting clearance to continue to KLGA. We ended up departing at 13h49 (scheduled 10h10)!
Remarks:Happy 80th Birthday, American Airlines! Manufactured in 1992. After having been delayed in Miami for 3hr39 due to WX forcing a ground stop at all New York airports, flight AAL1124 begins the descent into LaGuardia. Prior to the airport's closure with heavy rain and gusts up to 45kts, KLGA was using a single runway, 13 for inbound and outbound flights. Additionally, flight AAL1114 diverted to KIAD while flights AAL1256 and AAL2016 were CXLD.
