Remarks: Arriving on RWY10 from Brisbane operating on behalf of Our Airline on an addition FIFO service. Was a nice surprise to see a Boeing 737 on my short trip to Gladstone, they aren't a regular sight at this small regional airport.
Remarks: Touching down in Adelaide for the 1st time on a glorious Adelaide afternoon. This frame (c/n 23653) is no stranger to Adelaide Airport, it visited many times from 1986-2001 when it was flying as VH-CZA with the now defunct Ansett Australia.
Remarks: Not the most spectacular livery however it has been improved lately with the Skylink logo on the tail. At this time SLA was operating services for Air Vanuatu
Remarks: Returned to New Zealand from Australia... Most likely doing some charter work on this side of the Tasman... perhaps for this weekends Super 12 Rugby matches
Remarks: Climbing out from Brisbane Airport on a clear day, this aircraft has had quite a history... once registered to Ansett Australia (VH-CZA), used by the ADF for military charters, and also operated on behalf of Air Vanuatu!!
