Remarks: RAF 15 Squadron Tornado GR.4A ZA369 Code 003 blends well with Farnborough Airport buildings during take-off on 15Jul2102. The Afterburners (Reheat?) are blazing, leaving a trail of jet efflux which 'melts' the tower at rear right. The aircraft was one of two Tornados carrying out a simulated attack on dummy targets on the airfield, complete with Pyrotechnics, on the last day of the 2012 Farnborough Airshow. (The other Tornado was ZA405 Code 014).
Remarks: Show must go on... 2 Days earlier 4 pilots were lost in a collision between two Tornadoes... The Role demo was still done... I wonder what these pilots felt during the demo! RIP and Godspeed.
