Remarks: This is a photo of the 'Roll backs' manoeuvre, where Reds 2 and 3, and then 4 and 5, pull up and out of the formation, and roll over to return. Here 2 and 3, trailing red smoke, have completed their roll backs and are rejoining, and 4 and 5, trailing blue, are just pulling up and away.
Remarks: The synchro pair - Reds 6 and 7 - practice their opposition manoeuvres. Red 6, the Synchro Lead, is closer to the camera in this shot, whilst I was panning with my focus on Red 7, travelling from right to left.
