Remarks: A puff of smoke from the main wheel as the last flight of the day lands on Runway 31, having been doing circuits at nearby Mona, seen from the Rhosneigr sand dunes. The contractors have to man the station until the end of the flying day, which can be unpredictable; on this sunny evening the ATC caravan crew had to wait until six before they could drive back to the main site and go home. Remarks: The only Valley Hawk not to carry squadron markings proceeds to the end of Runway 14 for departure. Once again the coastal location of the station provides sunshine whilst drizzle and low overcast characterise the weather a few miles inland.
