Remarks: View from a Double-Decker BEST Bus, looking down BOM/VABB's Main Runway 27. Reverse Ops are currently underway due to this being Winter in Mumbai, and winds blowing from Land to the Sea. Jet Airways 117 Heavy from LHR is exiting the Active after Landing Rwy 09, while Kingfisher's A32X has Lined-up Rwy 09 for yet another Domestic Departure. As evident, early Winters can be really very HOT! Rwy 27 was notified as a sub-standard Rwy in many Airline Training Manuals when this photo was shot, but has since been re-surfaced and made Code F Compliant.
Remarks: Big Angry 9W 121 Heavy inbound from London Heathrow with a fair bit of Condensation build-up on her wings & checkout the size of those Vortices! I was lucky to have the storm clouds for background as otherwise their visual impact would'nt have been this dramtic.
