Remarks: View of the Flight Deck of Virgin Australia Airlines B737-8KG VH-VUY Cn 39450 on 05Feb2013. This Vertical aspect image emphasises the overhead console, with power and instrument lighting On. Photo taken while docked at Canberra Airport, after a 0.8 hour flight from Melbourne. Thanks to the Aircraft Captain for the Photo Opportunity. This aircraft substituted for an ERJ190 which went unserviceable in Mildura. VH-VUY (Named: Snapper Rocks) flew about 30 pax from Mildura to Melbourne, and then Flight VA271 departed YMML for YSCB (with about 50 pax) 2.5 hours late. A good 'rescue' of delayed passengers by Virgin Australia.

Remarks:Snapper Rocks climbing out of Melbourne enroute to Sydney on one of the worlds busiest sectors with some very nice cloud formations in the late afternoon. This was my 4th flight on VH-VUY. 1200px [Canon 50D]
Remarks: Virgin Australia's ex-AFL decal adorning B738 is now in the new livery and appropriately named Snapper Rocks (a famous surfing location on the Gold Coast). She is seen here cleaning up for the flight to Sydney as Virgin 526.
Remarks:Snapper Rocks looking fine in the evening light. This was Virgin Australia's first all white aircraft going back last year. It took on the AFL livery and now has been refitted with Boeing Sky Interior and looking great in the new livery. 1400px [Canon 50D]
