Remarks:Kingston Beach arrives at OOL for one of the last times before retirement as Velocity 509 from Sydney. A real shame especially considering that OOL was the first Australian port she landed at on delivery. We will miss you. :(
Remarks: This 737 as it was ordered to go around by ATC followed by a Jetstar A321. The cause, a China Southern A330 stopped on the runway while told to continue their roll and take off. ATC did not sound impressed. Both 737 and A321 climbed back to 3000ft and rejoined the arrival sequence.
Remarks:"Virgin 807" turning northbound to the bay arriving from Melbourne opperated by ex 50th aircraft scheme now in the new livery but sporting a red nose. Apparently Virgin Australia will change their callsign to "Velocity" from the 29OCT12.[Canon 500D]
Remarks:Kingston Beach got a bit sunburnt! Arriving from Sydney as Virgin 505 with a bright red nose cone, adding to VOQ and VUW which have red and white nose cones with white and red liveries respectively. Cheers to Andrew for the heads up.
Remarks:Kingston Beach ironically wearing red for the first time seen taxiing out for departure to Brisbane with her new nose cone on her 2nd day of opperations with the new look. 1200px [Canon 50D]
