Remarks: 18° 2'18.32"N 63° 7'13.04"W, for those who don't know this place (-; One of my first photos at Maho Beach. ...and somewhat disappointing. But hey, it's a realy nice party of aviation enthusiast with nice caribbean music and a very enjoyable mojito in your hand. And latest at 4 o'clock all the cruiseship tourists are leaving with the "taxi to ship" and the beach is getting peaceful again. PJ-WIS is waiting for takeoff clearance very close to the fence.

Remarks: View across the busy TNCM ramp ,with a Delta 737,AA757,West jet 737,AF A340, Jetblue EMB,a Skyway Shorts, and a few Biz jets all make for a great view of this sometimes very busy ramp
Remarks: Busy high season afternoon on the beach where hundreds of cruise passengers have been bussed in to watch the goings on at the famous Maho Beach. Photo taken from the Sunset Bar and Grill where you can spend the day chilling out with a drink, some food and photograph the goings on at Princess Juliana. The best photography lighting is in the Northern Hemisphere winter months as come June/July/August this location is backlit for photography and it is necessary to cross to the other side of the beach.
Remarks: View of the Ramp with a selection of passenger and biz jets with a few of the island hoppers all in this paradise setting of simpson bay and its other rich inhabitants the boats
Remarks: The Sunset beach bar offers everything you need ,food ,drink ,toilets and great company ,the sun stays on this side of the runway almost all day at this time of year,a standerd wide angle and a small zoom are ample here but alot of fun can be had with fisheye,s ,in this shot the "Cruise shippers" are ready to ride the fence but i don,t think they realise how close the jet is and it really does blast them across the beach and some end up in the sea,but its the done thing to do despite the warning signs Google Earth[ 18° 2'18.52"N 63° 7'12.50"W]
Remarks: From our vantage point ,we get a stunning view of the airport with "Maho" on the far left and simpson bay in front ,many thanks to Robbie for taking us up to the top of this peak
Remarks: Antonio Rivera, José Méndez, Carlos Barceló and José Ortiz spotting at the roof of Caravanserai Beach Resort just behind Sunset Bar, sadly it didn't last long. Google maps coordinates 18.037483,-63.119862.
Remarks: I sat of first row, middle seat on Winair PJ-WIL aircraft. When the pilot align with the runway, I loosed the seat belt, a lot, to get high enough to see through the first officer's window, already a little inside the cockpit (no cockpit doors on the DHC-6 Twin Otters), focus, shoot, sit, fasted seat belts, felt the touch down. After landing, I was even short of breath after such a quick gymnastic. At least I get to provide a different view of Maho Beach and Juliana Airport. Too bad seconds before all this it rained and the windshield was not so clear.
