Remarks: It's growing increasingly difficult to get an action shot of a classic pax 747. And, as always, when the situation arises, Murphy's cloud will always be present.
Remarks: Came here to take back home passengers stranded in Tenerife after XL Airways´ collapse. Another Hellenic Imperial´s 747 departed a few minutes later too. Very rare to see two 747s at the same time, but the reason was very sad.

Remarks: Parked up with sister-ship SX-TIE on stands 83 and 84 having operated XL Airways Rescue Flights, following the demise of the UK airline.
Remarks: Parked up for the night, Visiting in connection with the XL.com rescue flights.
Remarks: This one came to GCTS together with SX-TIC to help to repatriate many of the XL Airways passenguers left after if bankrupcy.
