Remarks: Shannon airport was regularly visited by airlines, wishing to take advantage of its long runway and quiet schedule, for training flights. PH-BUG named 'The Orinoco', is seen here after touching down for one of about ten 'touch and go' circuits that the aircraft performed that morning. This aircraft was eventually broken up in 2002. Scanned from print.
Remarks: (Fujichrome Sensia 100) Delivered to KLM on 15 December 1971 as PH-BUG. Photographed during the lease of this 747 to Garuda (from May until September 1991). Later to Corsair (F-GPJM) and is scrapped in 2002 on Chateauroux, France.
