Remarks: In MIA for the arrival of the inaugural Lufthansa A380 flight.
Remarks: This beautifully preserved American DC-3, FLagship Detroit flew to Miami, along with the Historical Foundation's Eastern DC-7, for the Celebration of the First A380 flight to MIA.
It carries U.S. Mail Air Express permit number AM 7-18-25-30.
Notice the copilot has his window open, and is waiving at the spectators!

Remarks: When I walked into the airshow all I wanted to photograph was this beauty.

Remarks: At the time the photo was taken, this A/C is the oldest DC-3 flying. Was in for AA employee appreciation event and for $200.00 you could have taken a flight to Niagara Falls and back.
