Remarks: The NASA C-9 sits on the ramp at Dulles after the arrival of it's sister aircraft N905NA with the Shuttle Discovery. The C-9 was used as a pathfinder for the flight between the Kennedy Space Center and Washington, DC.
Remarks: Here landing in runway 10 per first time the "Vomit Comet" visit this island!!! This plane is used for testing in zero gravity maneuvers. Also this is based on the Ellington Field this is near to the Johnson Space Center.

Remarks: The NASA DC-9 is the "Path Finder" when the NASA 747 Shuttle Carrier carries the Space Shuttle on its back. It leads the 747/Shuttle Carrier 30 minutes ahead to make sure the weather along the Carriers route is safe for transporting the shuttle through it. "NASA 932" is seen here arriving 15 mins prior to the arriving of the 747/Spaceshuttle at TTS.
