Remarks: Overview of Larnaca (LCA/LCLK) after an early morning departure from runway 04. You can see Mackenzie Beach at the bottom of the picture. The main terminal is opposite the runway 04 threshold, with bizjet parking near the Cyprus Airways hangar opposite the runway 22 threshold. A small part of Larnaca's huge salt lake can also be seen, as can Aegean's A319 SX-DGH waiting to depart for Athens (ATH/LGAV) from the 04 threshold.

Remarks: Larnaca's new Terminal which was opened on the 7th November 2009. Parked at it is a Royal Jordanian Embraer 195, a Cyprus Airways A319 and a Aeroflot A319. I was onboard an EK A332 from Dubai to Malta via Larnaca !
Remarks: This is the most beautiful Spotting Location I´ve been to so far. And I can hardly think of any better..Larnacas Mackenzie Beach offers not only some nice traffic on final approach for runway 22, but also everything you (and your escort ;-) ) need for a perfect day at the sea, with some restaurants and bars nearby...
