Remarks: Sat next to the huge 6 bladed prop on the Saab 2000, approaching RWY08 on a sunny morning with great views over Port Erin and Bradda Head on the south-west coast of the island.
Remarks: A light load this evening on our way from the Isle of Man back to London City, this shot taken from almost the back row. The Saab 2000 was a pleasure to fly on, and the active noise reduction in the cabin was very noticeable compared to your average turboprop.
Remarks: Decellerating on runway 27 after arriving from Isle of Man. My main reason for heading to City in great morning light. Canon 600D Canon 100-400L IS.
Remarks: The sole Saab 2000 operated by Eastern Airways on behalf of BA Cityflyer which operates the thrice daily Isle of Man service. Wouldn't have thought that I would ever see a BA Saab 2000, and very smart it looks too.
