Remarks: Love this aircraft. High humidity causing some propeller trails.
Remarks: A face only a mother could love! Climbing away from Runway 34L bound for Darwin.
Remarks: Rare Belfast resting on the Brisbane cargo ramp just before a storm.
Remarks: (Built 1964) parked on the GA apron between flights carting stuff from here to there via everywhere! Lovely aircraft and it's a pleasure to have the world's only flying Belfast based here in Australia. Ex RAF XR365 and G-HLFT.
Remarks: I haven' t seen this Belfast for a while.
Remarks: Sitting at the OLD ITB "9L-LDQ"
Remarks: BNE spotters Weekend 2006.
Remarks: At that very same moment, it was the shutter clicks from the cameras of the other spotters at the spot which drew more attention than the sounds from the Belfast's engines.
Remarks: (265) HeavyLift's Belfast 9L-LDQ is seen attempting to takeoff on rwy01 for the second time and for the second time it is unsuccessful. Apparently not enough engine power.
Remarks: Saw this a few days earlier in Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea) and thought I had missed my chance for a shot-but then it turned up here at Changi!
Remarks: First time that I have seen this aircraft. Only 10 were made and were flown by 53 Suadron RAF Brize Norton
