Remarks: What a surprise to find some people working in the weekend on these New Zealand registered helicopters. Turned out they were just bought in New Zealand and being prepared for operations in Canada under a new Canadian registration.
Remarks: Japanese registered, line number 13 and number 6 for ANA. With 17000 lbs of dead weight on each wing instead of engines. I hope she flies soon.
Remarks: Rivets, rivets and rivets. This magnificent aircraft looks like it is stapled together. How different she is from her shiny composite sister from just next door, the 787.
Remarks: Yes they are quiet, very quiet and even more quiet without engines! When I was there, I saw 787 frames parked everywhere. 40 frames were out of the factory and waiting for engines and certification. I hope they get delivered soon.
