Remarks: Until the last weekend of October the visitors terrace is opened till 8 in the evening. At this time of year it is dark which, as you can see here, makes an interesting place for photographers to make some night shots. View from under the wing of PH-OFE with the D-gate on the left and the C-gate on the right (52° 18' 31.809" 4° 45' 53.7372").
Remarks: Cockpit view of the Fokker100 that is on display on the visitors terrace. I thought of uploading it as spotting location, as it would meet the criteria. You can see some a/c on the ramp below, and there is even a sign that says on which airport it is taken ;-) Thanks to Paul, for his inspiration.
Remarks: Great light at this time of day: with the sun not yet entirely set and the lamps already ignited. In this gloomy light Prins Pieter Christiaan waits till she is towed away.
Remarks: View at the E gate with some ramp activity as Nahanni National Park is being loaded for her next trip. The light is great at this time of day: with the sun not yet entirely set and the lamps already ignited.
Remarks: Detail of the Fokker 100 that is placed on the visitors terrace. A nice bird that can be visited, you can go inside and have a view in the cockpit and cabin. Pitty they do not keep her very clean on the outside ;-)
In the back a glimpse of two of the control towers.
