Remarks: Tail close-up of a Belgian Air Force F-16AM, with a special c/s to celebrate 70 years of 350 Squadron (350 Squadron was established on November 10th, 1941 within the Royal Air Force and took part in the Battle of Britain).
Remarks: A smokey-pass by this Slovak Air Force MiG-29AS (reg:3911, cn2960532039/4204), during the rehearsal on the arrival day for the Florennes Air Show 2012.
Remarks: The largest aircaft of the Belgian Air Force - an Airbus A330-322 - was also present during the Fly-past across Brussels on the Belgian National day (July21st).
Remarks: It was a long, cold and wet wait...but finaly this F-4F Phantom II from JG71 returned from a training mission and is here seen on final for RWY08 at Wittmund. It wears a special c/s to celebrate the last German Air Force F-4F Phantom II that received depot level inspection at the aircraft maintenance facility at Jever. The special c/s also remembers the 45th anniversary of the Luftwaffeninstandhaltungsgruppe 21 (LIG).
Remarks: German Air Force F-4F Phantom II (38+29, cn4691), completing its landing run on Wittmund's RWY08 and arriving at the braking-chute drop-off zone, at the end of a mission on a gray and rainy day.
Remarks: A Polish Air Force Su-22UM-3K Fitter, on final at Geilenkirchen - in awful weather conditions - during the arrival day for the celebrations of 30 years AWACS. The Sukhoi Su-22 remains a very impressive sight!
Remarks: The German Air Force Phantom crews have a nice habbit of decorating their aircraft when they are on specific missions abroad. This F-4F Phantom II (38+48, cn4747) has been marked with some Icelandic 'Spook' artwork on the splitter plate from a recent "Icelandic Air Policing"-exercise (i.e. a NATO operation conducted to patrol Iceland's airspace). Luftwaffe F-4F Phantom IIs from Jagdgeschwader 71 "Richthofen" were detached to Keflavik Air Base from 5th March till 2nd April 2012.
