Remarks: This aft view of the Beluga shows some interesting details, like the additional tail surfaces, and reveals the structure of the union of the oversized cargo compartment of this 1994 Super Transporter. Taken after an arrival to Finkenwerder with some A320 forward fuselages from Sant Nazaire.
Remarks: A newly manufactured set of wings is carefully loaded aboard Super Transporter “TA”. Note the jack in place under the nose which is powered by the vehicle next to the aircraft. Out of shot is a similar device supporting the tail section. A visit to Hawarden demonstrates the ingenuity and resourcefulness of Airbus in the management of its logistics not to mention the impressive nature of its manufacturing facilities.
