Garuda 743, classic airliner...or I hope it was, this aircraft had a little accident with another 744 operated by UA. Note that it does not have a winglet on the left side or both!
Ok, so what is so strange about this aircraft? Yes, it is missing a winglet!
This 747-400 is missing something!... Apparently allowed in the Minimum Equipment List and it flies just fine with just one (or none).
VARIG was a member of the 747-400 club for only a couple of years. This particular machine went on to serve with Garuda Indonesia.
