Remarks: Lufthansa’s eighteen 93-passenger Avro RJ85s are operated by subsidiary Citiline. The encircled crane tail logo was designed in 1918 by Professor Otto Firle for one of Lufthansa’s predecessors, and after 89 years is still an integral part of one of the most stylish and modern of all airline liveries. This RJ is seen approaching Birmingham’s Runway 33 against a backdrop of the hills and woods of Warwickshire near Great Packington. (400D, Sigma 80-400 & fluid-head tripod)
