Horrible weather in Alberta forced an overnight stay in Vernon for Bird Dog 51
Visiting from Calgary
A very nice looking 40 year old.
Homeward bound for Juneau Alaska after being converted to the Texas Turbine and adding amphibious floats.
Not a very common helicopter here, but this one came from Kelowna to practice forced landings.
Two wingless Cessnas in this photo.
Check out the vortex generators on the wing leading edge.
This beautiful Skywagon comes from Sitka, Alaska
The PT6 end almost seems to be smiling
A very nice new paint scheme on this visitor from Alberta.
After serving over fifty years with Manitoba Government, a new owner has been found and this Otter is next in line for turbinization.
As more and more Otters have their powerplants changed to turbines, this sight is becoming rare. The R1340 will soon be a thing of the past.
Sadly, this beautiful Stearman sufferred an accident and needs a rebuild.
